This year marks the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth, and 2008 was the 150th anniversary of the Lincoln-Douglas Debates. In honor of these historic events, we are hosting a traveling exhibit on the Lincoln-Douglas Debates through June 15th. These famed debates took place in 1858 as Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas campaigned for a US Senate seat. The exhibit will help you learn about these historic debates, which took place in various cities throughout Illinois.
