Mark Johnson Memorial Dessert Recipe Booklet

It's here! Our annual dessert booklet is now available. This year's offering is a tribute to Mark Johnson, our former Head of Local History, who passed away on August 27, 2011. Mark had a fondness for food, whether it was trying different restaurants or gathering interesting recipes. The dessert recipes in our 2012 collection all come from Mark's personal recipe archive.

For a fitting local history connection, the first recipe in the booklet is a coffee cake recipe from Gustave King (G.K.) Franklin, the son of Lesser and Sarah Franklin. You'll also find a variety of baked goods to concoct and frosting recipes to whip up.
