True Blood by Charlaine Harris
Did you know Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire series of novels is being turned into a television series on HBO?
I have never read anything by Charlaine Harris, but learned a whole lot about her during the Franklin Park Library’s Summer Reading Program. Many participants raved about this series of books and, I imagine, would be interested in watching the TV show as well.

I am a great fan of Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire series of novels and was enthusiastic when True blood was shown. I have read all of the books of the mystery series and loved it. The TV show was pleasant but I liked the books most.
True Blood Books
I've read all of the books in the Charlaine Harris Southern Vampire Mystery series and also watched every episode of True Blood. Both works are fantastic. I highly recommend that people who've read the books check out the series and vice versa.
Can't wait for Season 1 of the series!
True Blood on dvd
After reading all of the books, I'm looking forward to watching the show on dvd whenever it's released, which is looking like sometime this spring. --Vanessa

True Blood resembles Heroes at first glance (just rented the first episode from Blockbuster), though it still feels mostly original... for some reason this show makes me want to eat Cajun food and drink cheap beer
