Pandora is an extraordinary website I use nearly every day. It is a free online radio station which is designed to suit your unique musical tastes. Simply type in a musician or song you like and Pandora will play songs somewhat like the musician or song.

For each new song you hear you can give it either a thumbs up or thumbs down depending on whether you like it. Each time you give a song thumbs up or thumbs down Pandora will take that in to account for your following songs till it has perfected your radio station.

You can have as many radio stations as you like. I have a Sigur Ros radio station for crazy Icelandic melodic music (mostly when I am working on web design), a Pixies radio station for when I feel like listening to some punk/grunge type of rock, Morphine radio station when I feel like some more jazzy type music, and many more.

With the “Quick Mix” option you can also mix your radio stations, e.g., you like The Pixies, Sigur Ros, Moby, Diana Ross, etc., and feel like listening to a mix of everything.

I highly recommend this site to anybody who enjoys music and works on or near a computer for the majority of the day. It is necessary to create an account with Pandora eventually, but not until you have decided whether you like this website.
