Night Film by Marisha Pessl

Loved this one. It's a literary thriller about the investigation of the suspicious death of the daughter of a famous yet elusive film director, reminiscent of real-life director Stanley Kubrick. The story is told from the viewpoint of a journalist named Scott McGarth, and it's a twisty and exciting tale as he tries to unravel the truth. The snippets of articles and web pages interspersed throughout serve as evidence and help to make this book seem real. One of my favorites for 2013!
