Didier, John and Catherine

John Didier was born on Aug. 1866, and married Catherine Wieland (born September 1870) in November 1890. They had 14 children. In 1917, they moved from Chicago to Franklin Park, where they had a farm south of Grand Ave. near Mannheim Rd. In 1928, John sold the farm and built a house at 2933 Atlantic. The family was very active in St. Gertrude's Church. John was a Village Trustee from 1934-1949.
