Tech Training at Your Library

The Library provides free tech training at a variety of times. Training ranges from beginner courses to neat web resources. Sessions last approximately 60 - 90 minutes, and are limited to four participants.

During July, we are offering training on these topics: Excel 2007, Word 2007, Desktop Publishing 101, Facebook, Pinterest 101, and Google. Two special programs are Internet Security and Intro to LinkedIn. View our complete July 2014 Tech Training schedule.

Download & Read A Pedigree to Die For by Laurien Berenson

As part of the Big Library Read, Franklin Park Library card holders will be able to borrow and read the mystery eBook, A Pedigree to Die For, Book 1 of the Melanie Travis Mystery Series by Laurien Berenson, from June 3 - June 18, 2014. Preview a sample of the book here.

To borrow the eBook, visit our eMediaLibrary site starting on June 3. You can read the eBook on all major computers and devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Nook®, Android™ phones and tablets, and Kindle® . Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and best of all, there are no late fees!

The Big Library Read is an international program that gives libraries and library patrons unlimited simultaneous access to a popular title during the program dates, creating a virtual, global book club. Donate Your Formal Wear for Once Upon a Prom

Doing some spring cleaning? Have you discovered formal wear and accessories that you don't need anymore?

We are now accepting donations all year round for our annual Once Upon a Prom event. We are interested in dresses, suits, wraps, shoes, and jewelry, all in good condition.
